UPSC Announces Results for Civil Services Exam 2022: Women Toppers Dominate Once Again

 

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has recently announced the results of the Civil Services Examination (CSE) for the year 2022. Once again, women have excelled and secured the top positions. IshitaKishore has achieved the All India Rank (AIR) 1, closely followed by Garima Lohia, Uma Harathi N, and Smriti Mishra.

 

In the previous year's UPSC CSE 2021 examination, Shruti Sharma emerged as the topper with All India Rank 1. Remarkably, all three top positions were secured by women in that particular year as well. Ankita Agarwal secured AIR 2, while Gamini Singla from Chandigarh achieved the rank of 3.

 The preliminary examination for UPSC CSE took place on June 5, 2022, and the results were made available on June 22.

The main examination was conducted between September 16 and 25, and the results were announced on December 6.
